Isla Chora (Sámara,48 rooms, air, in-room safe, pool, ice cream shop, disco, restaurant). Isla Chora is the only resort in downtown Sámara and it’s set about 150 meters/493 feet from the beach. It features a large freeform pool and rooms in various villas as well as upper-floor apartments with big bathrooms and balconies. All the appealing furnishings were imported from Italy. In low season it is a very good bargain. Owned by Giuseppe Savazzi, the conductor of the Turin Orchestra.
