In the same complex as the Lottemuseum is the City and Industry Museum, It has an eclectic collection of items related to Wetzlar, ranging from prehistoric archeological finds to more modern industrial products. On display is the Ur-Leica, above, the first one, that used 36x24 mm film. The century Wetzlar spent as seat of the Reichskammergericht left it not only with several houses seeming too large and rich for a town of this size, but also a large collection of valuable furniture and paintings.
