Nearby in a small side street is the tiny Weinbaumuseum Meersburg (Viticulture Museum), Vorburggasse. It focuses on the local wine industry and is open from April to October on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday, 2 to 6 pm. Wine tasting and cellar tours are offered on most Wednesdays at 6 pm and Fridays at 7 pm from April to October–reservations via the tourism office are essential. Wine can be bought nearby in the Staatsweingut.
