Spend five days and five nights on the trail working cattle just as cowboys have for over 100 years. You will gain hands-on experience in horseback riding, cattle driving, riding in a covered wagon, and side trailrides. Every evening we have western music dancing or entertainment. A ranch rodeo will be held with you, the guest, being a contestant to give you a chance to show off the skills you learned during the drive. We are a group of working cattle ranch owners or cattle affiliated professionals, and experienced horse people, almost all native to the Roundup area, who have formed Roundup Cattle Drive, Inc. Each morning of the roundup, we wrangle approximately one hundred horses and mules. We gather and sort, work and trail several hundred head of cattle. The annual fall Cattle Roundup is limited to roughly fifty guests. Our crew of outriders, teamsters, wranglers, cooks, and musicians make sure everything runs smoothly. As we ride through the heart of Montana's famous scenery, you'll notice something incredible: No smog, no haze, no smoke. The mountain air of the Big Sky is like nothing else. It's so clean and healthful that just the thought of it feels good.
